Notes: On an unrelated note, I'm going to be posting 19 ficlets today, all things being equal. They're all old stuff that needed to be transferred, because someone found out *after* she had started importing that you can import your *whole* journal. Sheesh... So, just warning those suckers ... er, friends who are subscribed to my journal. Explicit fics are marked 18+, so just be warned. Spamming about to commence.

There was nothing else like this. The stretch of muscle, the weight of a weapon in her hand, and she was sliding through the air like silk over skin. No other feeling better than the dance. Flowing through space like a ribbon through the air, slicing through bodies and out again, unhindered, unfettered. Lost in the dance, loosed from life for the moment, soaring like a kite on the wind. Unable to be hurt where it really counts. Grief was abandoned, pain fled, and she was whole, or as whole as a wraith in the wind could be.
She was free.

Notes: This song started playing, and I suddenly thought of this. This is a wonderful, fun song, and I urge people everywhere to get a copy. I guess this could be classed as a songfic, but... What it is is a piece of fluffy fun. Also, timeline is a little skewed. This is set post-Chosen, while the actual song was released in 2000. The song is available through iTunes.
